Brad Hicks

Brad Hicks grew up in Grants Pass, learning the value of hard work in his family’s grocery store and seeing firsthand how small businesses form the backbone of Southern Oregon. For over 30 years, Brad served our community as a civic leader, president of one of the largest Chambers of Commerce in the West, and a tireless advocate for local jobs and opportunity. His commitment came not from ambition, but from a sense of obligation—a belief that real people, not distant politicians, should build Oregon’s future.

Today, Brad is running for State Senate because “enough is enough.” Salem’s supermajority has pushed policies that punish small businesses and working families, passed devastating wildfire mandates that threaten property owners, and ignored the voices of Southern and rural Oregonians.

Brad will fight for a government that listens to communities rather than orders them around. He’s seen neighbors and friends forced to close their doors and local legends, like Dutch Bros, move away due to regulatory hostility; he knows our economy is bleeding, and it’s time for change.

Brad is committed to practical solutions: restoring balance, defending the free enterprise system, protecting homes and property values, and making Oregon a place where “innovation, opportunity, and common sense thrive.” He promises to listen to the unheard, assure every voter their voice matters, and to work so Southern Oregon’s best days are ahead—not behind. Brad and his wife, Kimberly, call Medford home, and he brings both experience and resolve to lead Senate District 3 into a stronger future.
